Prep like a pro.
- Pack your child's belongings in a small backpack that they can carry comfortably.
- Camp is a good place to wear out old clothes. Buying and packing new clothes for camp is fun but items can get ruined at camp.
- Label all items including their back pack with your child's first and last name to help keep your camper’s belongings easily distinguished from others and to make retrieval from lost and found easier.
- Do not let your child bring any items or clothing of great value or emotional attachment. Things can soil easily and personal belongings can get mixed up and lost.
Camper expectations.
Cell Phones
- Campers are not allowed to have cell phones at camp. Cell phones brought to camp will be confiscated and given back at the end of the day.

Health care at camp.
Our Day Camp Director, is First Aid and CPR certified. She will take care of sick or injured campers. She will act under the guidance of CYO Camp's Standing Orders and protocols. About Photos at Camp.
Please note:
- There is no maximum or minimum number of images that may appear in a gallery We can only guarantee that your child will appear in your child’s group picture. Group photos are posted at the end of the week.
- There are far fewer photos to upload on days when we have inclement weather.
- We capture a wide range of emotions. Don’t worry if your camper isn’t smiling in one picture. We do our best to capture the range of emotions experienced by campers throughout the week. Just because your child isn’t smiling in a photo does not mean your child is unhappy or upset. If your child is upset or unhappy over an extended period, you’ll hear from us.
- We can’t fulfill photo requests. We don’t have the capacity to fulfill specific photo requests while maintaining our commitment to capturing the spirit of the camp experience.
- We regularly upload our favorite images to our social media sites including Facebook and Instagram.
- If you have any questions about our photography philosophy or Camp’s photo policies, please contact lauren@campranchoframasa.org.
Contacting camp.
You may call or email camp to check on your child. The best time to contact the camp is during regular business hours so that someone in the office will be available to receive your request. Please call our office at 812-988-2839, ext. 122 or e-mail registrar@campranchoframasa.org. Please note several calls and emails are received each day and it may take a few hours for your call or email to be returned.
WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS ME?
• Camp staff will contact you if your child needs you.
• Phones are not available to campers. Sometimes, when a camper believes he/she has permission to call home, he/she may focus on calling home instead of getting involved in camp activities. Please, do NOT give your child permission to call home or allow him or her to bring a cell phone. Cell phones will be confiscated and returned at the end of the day.
Lost & Found.
It is our goal to send campers home with all their belongings, but we understand sometimes things get left behind. We want to try to reunite you with your belongings if we can; however, we cannot guarantee anything will be found. If you think you left something at camp, please fill out the form in the link below with as much detail about your item(s) as possible. Due to the high volume of lost and found items being sorted through, we will only reach out if items are found to confirm they belong to you. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
CYO Camp Rancho Framasa's Lost and Found Policy:
* We are unable to return: Bug Spray and Sunscreen, unlabeled towels and water bottles.
* Any excessively dirty items, single socks, or undergarments will be discarded.
* We will store all unclaimed lost and found items at camp for a maximum of 14 days at which time they will be donated or thrown away.
Camp Rancho Framasa will not seek out the owners of any lost items to get them returned. You are responsible for all items you bring/send to camp.
*If you arrived home with another camper's belongings, please contact us as soon as possible as that family may be frantically searching for these items.*
