Are you curious about our workflow, or have questions about why we do what we do? From cabin pictures, to photo upload times, we have the answers for you.

Writing your Camper.

We encourage you to write to your child while they are at camp. 

Campers are able to receive e-mail and postal mail while at camp.

E-mail attachments, photos, and e-cards will not be opened or printed. Campers CANNOT send e-mail from camp.

Email is printed each day between 2 and 3 pm and is typically delivered around the dinner hour.

E-mail is NOT printed and delivered on the opening or the closing day of camp sessions.

.Postal mail is delivered and sent from camp daily.

Parents may drop mail into a camper “mailbox” during check-in. Staff will deliver these letters with other mail.

Email sent to campers via other email addresses will not be printed or delivered.
Any emails deemed inappropriate by camp staff will not be delivered to campers.
Email Delivery Schedule
CYO Camp is in the eastern time zone and we observe daylight saving time. 
  • Sunday emails accepted after 10:30 a.m. for Monday delivery.
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday emails received before 2:00 p.m. will be delivered the same day.
  • Emails received after 2:00 p. m. will be delivered the next day.
  • Friday & Saturday No emails, please.

Camper Checks

You may call or email camp to check on your child. The best time to contact the camp is during regular business hours so that someone in the office will be available to receive your request. Please phone Mae at 812-988-2839, ext. 122 or e-mail registrar@campranchoframasa.org. Please note several calls and emails are received each day and it may take a few hours for your call or email to be returned.

WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS ME?
• Camp staff will contact you if your child needs you.
• Phones are not available to campers. Sometimes, when a camper believes he/she has permission to call home, he/she may focus on calling home instead of getting involved in camp activities. Please, do NOT give your child permission to call home or allow him or her to bring a cell phone. Cell phones will be confiscated and returned at the end of the week. Stay in touch with your child throughout the week via mail.
